Rose Cottage Exterior Repair & Painting

External repair and refurbishment works were undertaken on a traditional period cottage in Alciston, East Sussex, with care taken to preserve the character of the building. Areas of loose and deteriorating exterior material were carefully stripped back, and cracks within the walls were stabilised using epoxy sealant before being sensitively repaired with mortar. Flaking paint was removed from the window frames to allow for proper preparation and longevity. The exterior walls were then repainted using an industrial-grade airless sprayer to achieve a consistent finish. Final works included the detailed painting of supporting metalwork, window frames and the front door, leaving the cottage protected, refreshed and in keeping with its original character.
